Warning:
Due to the high temperature of the steam,
the styrofoam and polyurethane hive boxes can get damaged.
Ask the manufacturer about the beehive corps temperature resistance.
Steam wax melter - SED -
Melt wax by using hive box made of wood.
Place a funnel and sieve inside hive body, place a bucket underneath, insert steam hose and here you go.
Melted wax will stream into the bucket through sieve
and funnel.
In addition, steam disinfects the frames in high temperature. Frame wires remains undamaged after wax melting, which allows reaplying wax foundation right after cleaning.
